TikTok download not working? 7 quick fixes
Pasted a link and nothing happened? Ninety percent of failed downloads come from a handful of causes. Work through these in order.
1. Check the link is complete
Copy the link again with Share → Copy link, not by typing it. Partial links fail.
2. Make sure the video is public
Private accounts and friends-only videos can't be downloaded by anyone but the owner.
3. The video may be deleted or region-locked
If it was removed, or blocked in your region, extraction will fail with a clear message.
4. Try again in a moment
Platforms rate-limit heavy traffic. If you've made many requests quickly, wait a minute.
5. Clear the input and re-paste
Stray spaces or tracking parameters can confuse the parser. Paste a fresh link.
6. Use the right tool
Saving a photo slideshow? Use the slide tool, not the video downloader.
7. Still stuck?
Platforms change their internals often. If a whole platform stops working, it usually means our extractor needs an update — let us know and we'll push a fix.
